Beloved Zagallo's To Close Its Doors: Family Run Since 1997

A local take away and pizzeria, Zagallo’s, will be closing its doors, marking the end of an era.

With roots going back to 1982, the pizzeria has been family run since 1997 in Rabat, led by the beloved Frans.

The pizzeria was a favourite for the 1st Rabat Scout Group, and was there during several events such as campings and fundraiser activities.

As it closes its doors this week, the pizzeria organised one last gathering at the scout’s headquarters, bringing the iconic pizza to the members.

‘We would like to take this opportunity to thank both Frans and Omar Buhagiar for their help and wish them all the best in their next ventures’, wrote the scouts group.
