BCRS Jumbo RVMs Will Now Accept Aluminium Containers

BCRS Jumbo Reverse Vending Machines will now accept aluminium containers in bulk.

As of yesterday, all Jumbo RVMs have now been equipped with Compingle Compactors, enabling the machines to accept both PET plastic bottles and aluminium beverage containers in bulk.

These machines are available in ten localities across Malta and Gozo: Xewkija Industrial Park (Gozo), Bulebel Industrial Park, Hal Far Industrial Park, Marsa Industrial Park, San Ġwann Industrial Park, Kirkop, Luxol, Mellieħa, Salina and Ta’ Qali.

Commenting on the upgrade, BCRS Chief Executive Officer Alexander Galea said: “We are continuously listening to public feedback and reinvesting in the scheme to make it more accessible, efficient and easier to use."
