A banner calling for justice has once again been raised for Jean Paul, marking the third time it has been put up despite adverse weather conditions. The message, shared on the Facebook page Għal Jean Paul, run by his mother Isabelle Sofia, reflects a family’s continued plea for accountability and justice.

In an emotional statement, Isabelle Sofia said that while “total justice” can never truly be achieved following the loss of her only son through what she describes as negligence, she still expects that at least some justice is delivered. She expressed frustration over court decisions that have allowed the accused to travel freely, arguing that this does not reflect the gravity of the case.

She also questioned how one of the accused, previously convicted in a separate case and imprisoned, could return to work within a government department while facing charges. According to the post, the family believes that those responsible should fully answer for their actions, which they say caused immense and lasting harm.

The appeal concludes with a direct and poignant question: “Who will listen to us?”, a reflection of the family’s ongoing struggle for answers, accountability, and support for victims and their relatives.
