Ħaż-Żebbuġ Local Council Installs New Hedgehog Road Signs

The Ħaż-Żebbuġ local council has installed new hedgehog road signs for drivers as the days get longer and hotter and the hedgehogs get more active.
Mayor Steve Zammit Lupi and the local council installed these new animated signs to raise awareness about these animals as they become more vulnerable and exposed to vehicles in the area.
Drivers are urged to be on the lookout for any of them crossing the street, and to contact wildlife authorities should they require assistance with handling such animals.
