A photo shared by Jorge Grech marks the start of the Ħaż-Żabbar feast in honour of Our Lady of Graces in the locality.
Taken at the Knisja Arċipretali u Santwarju, Madonna tal-Grazzja, the photo shows various enthusiasts together as they mark the start of their beloved feast.
A subsequent photo shows the massive crowd gathered for the celebration of the feast.
‘There are no words to describe the sentiment and emotion as the statue is brought out of the sanctuary’, wrote Grech.
