August Is Over, But The Heat Isn’t

According to It-Temp Madwarna, August 2025 brought the highest rainfall in Siġġiewi with 70.2mm, while some localities saw none at all. In total, there were just three rainy days during the month.

The 2024/25 season delivered 493mm of rain, around 88% of the long-term average, and was regarded as a fair year, particularly during winter and spring.

Rainfall in Malta and Gozo over the past five years has ranged from a low of 278mm in 2023/24 (50% of average) to a high of 597mm in 2022/23 (106%), with last season closing at 493mm (88%).

This week’s forecast remains sunny and hot, with temperatures expected to reach 33°C tomorrow.
