ARTISTIC SWIMMING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS ONGOING IN GOZO WITH OVER 220 ATHLETES

The Gozo Indoor Sports and Aquatic Pavilion is currently hosting the Artistic Swimming National Championships, taking place from the 8th to the 12th of April, marking the fourth time the prestigious event has been held at the venue.

The competition has attracted significant international participation, bringing together athletes and officials from 17 countries. In total, more than 220 participants are competing, making it one of the largest editions of the championships to date.

Artistic swimming, known for its blend of athletic strength, precision, and creative expression, is on full display throughout the five-day event. Competitors are performing highly synchronised routines that combine technical skill with artistic choreography, captivating spectators with their control and coordination in the water.

Throughout the championships, audiences can expect a dynamic programme featuring a range of routines that highlight the discipline, teamwork, and endurance required at the highest level of the sport. The event continues to showcase Gozo as a capable host for major international sporting competitions while promoting aquatic sports locally and abroad.
