Around 720 Persons In Prison In 2025: 374 Were Foreigners

According to information tabled in parliament, the average population of Malta’s Correctional Services Agency was 727 inmates.
Of these, 374 were foreigners. Minister Byron Camilleri also revealed that in the same year, 441 persons were finishing their sentence and returning to society.
The questions were tabled by PN MP Ivan Bartolo.
