Armed Forces Rescue Man From Difficulty In St Peter’s Pool Despite Rough Weather

Earlier this afternoon, a person was reported to be facing difficulty in the area of St Peter’s Pool.
Civil Protection Malta informed the Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) and requested assistance to rescue the person in question.
In response, a rescue helicopter was dispatched by the Armed Forces of Malta, which carried out the rescue operation despite rough weather conditions.
Following the rescue, the helicopter landed safely and the person was handed over to the medical personnel of Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.
