Armed Forces of Malta’s Delta Company Completes Advanced Drone Defence Training

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) has announced that Delta Company, part of 1 Regiment, has successfully completed a series of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) training exercises.
The exercises aimed to strengthen the unit’s operational readiness in the face of evolving aerial threats. Personnel were trained to detect, deter, and neutralise unmanned aerial systems in complex and dynamic environments, marking a significant step forward in Malta’s aerial defence capabilities.
AFM officials emphasised that such training ensures the force remains prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to potential drone-related incidents.
