ARMED FORCES OF MALTA REPRESENT COUNTRY AT EU MILITARY COMMITTEE RECEPTION IN BRUSSELS

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) represented the country at the Opening Reception of the Irish Presidency of the European Union Military Committee (EUMC), held at the BELvue Museum in Brussels, Belgium.
The event brought together senior military representatives and defence officials from across the European Union, providing an opportunity to strengthen professional relationships and discuss the priorities of the Irish Presidency in the field of defence.
Representing Malta were Colonel Christopher Attard, Malta’s Military Representative to the European Union and NATO Partnership for Peace (PfP), together with his Military Assistant, Captain Ryan Falzon.
The reception served as an important platform for military leaders from EU member states to engage in dialogue, exchange perspectives, and reinforce cooperation on shared defence priorities.
The Armed Forces of Malta said they were proud to represent the country at the event, highlighting Malta’s continued participation in discussions and collaboration within the European defence community.
