Armed Forces of Malta Prepare for Freedom Day 2026 Parade

The Armed Forces of Malta have revealed that preparations are well underway for Malta’s Freedom Day 2026 celebrations, with rehearsals continuing ahead of the annual parade.
The parade will take place on Tuesday, 31st March 2026, beginning at 9:30am along Saint Theresa Street in Cospicua and continuing along Saint Lawrence Street in Vittoriosa.
At 9:40am, the Guard will take up position near the Freedom Monument in Vittoriosa, as the nation comes together to proudly mark Malta’s Freedom Day.
The Armed Forces of Malta encouraged residents and visitors to join in the celebrations and witness the traditional parade honoring the country’s independence and freedom.
