Armed Forces Of Malta Personnel Earn Advanced Combat Medical Certification

Three members of the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) have successfully completed the Medical Combat Care in Maritime Operations course at a Maritime Training Centre in Greece, earning an advanced qualification that strengthens the force's operational medical capabilities.
The intensive programme combined pre-course online learning with classroom lectures and practical exercises, focusing on the delivery of medical support during Maritime Interdiction Operations.
Training covered casualty management, medical evacuations and casualty evacuation procedures in challenging maritime environments.
Following the successful completion of the course, the three AFM personnel were awarded the Tactical Combat Casualty Care – Combat Medic/Corpsman (TCCC CMC) certification.
The internationally recognised qualification equips military medical personnel with the skills needed to assess and treat life-threatening injuries in high-threat operational settings.
The Armed Forces of Malta said the achievement reflects its ongoing commitment to professional development, operational readiness and providing soldiers with specialised training opportunities both in Malta and abroad.
