Armed Forces Of Malta Attend Holy Mass Held In Honour Of Remembrance Day

At just 21 years old, Christian Axiak is proving that perseverance can bridge even the widest of worlds; from the deck of a fishing boat to the halls of academia!
A fisherman by trade, Christian has spent countless dawns out at sea, a life defined by discipline, endurance, and connection to nature.
Yet, he refused to let his demanding work keep him from pursuing education. Balancing early mornings on the water with late nights of study required commitment, but Christian approached it with quiet strength and focus.
This November, Christian joins 1,718 graduates celebrating their success at the University of Malta, earning a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Physical Education. What makes this moment even more special is that he’s the first in his family to graduate, marking a proud milestone for both him and his loved ones.
“You just have to set your mind to something, never give up, and always be open to learning new things; you can do anything with that mindset,” he stated.
Grateful for his family’s unwavering support, his “anchor,” as he fondly calls them, Christian is now taking his next big step; a Masters in Teaching and Learning (Physical Education).
His goal is to inspire others through sport, education, and personal growth.
