Armed Forces Join Police During Swieqi Patrols

Deputy Mayor of Swieqi Jordan Galea Pace shared footage of Armed Forces of Malta officials joining police during patrols in Swieqi.

This comes after it was announced that the AFM has deployed personnel in the locality to work alongside the police after numerous reports and footage of disturbances, particularly tourists.

Galea Pace shared footage of the ongoing operations, thanking the officials for their continuous work.

‘This was one of the most quiet weekends I had this summer’, wrote the young deputy mayor. ‘I personally received only two reports. An important step forward.’
