ARCHBISHOP CHARLES SCICLUNA RECOVERING AFTER SUCCESSFUL SURGICAL PROCEDURE

Archbishop Charles Scicluna is currently recovering after successfully undergoing a surgical procedure, the Archdiocese has confirmed.

In an official statement, the Archdiocese said that after spending several days in hospital, Archbishop Scicluna has now begun a period of rehabilitation as part of his recovery process.

Acting on medical advice, the Archbishop will be reducing his public engagements over the coming weeks to allow for proper rest and recuperation.

Despite stepping back temporarily from public duties, Archbishop Scicluna expressed his gratitude to all those who have sent well wishes and kept him in their prayers during this time.

He conveyed his heartfelt thanks for the support shown following the procedure.

The Archdiocese also appealed for the Archbishop’s privacy to be respected as he focuses on his recovery and rehabilitation in the weeks ahead.
