“AQBEŻ”: PN Candidate Darren Carabott Spotlights Hateful Comments

Nationalist Party candidate Darren Carabott took to social media to share a number of comments he received urging him to commit suicide on a video he had posted earlier.

He said that these are just a few of the many hateful comments he received. Carabott urged those commenting to stop and think before they write, exclaiming how these comments look to loved ones of the target.

He also said that, irrespective of political differences, politicians are still flesh-and-blood and still human, and should not be the target of such hateful comments.

‘It’s a period of intense political feeling’, but this should not be the way we do things, said Carabott.

He also urged anyone struggling with problems to seek professional help as we need to be a community that lifts each other up.
