Appeal To Follow Għar Lapsi Safety Signs Due To Storm Damage

Taking to social media, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Chris Bonett appealed for people to follow the warning and safety signs set up at Għar Lapsi given the damages by Storm Harry.
People are urged to follow the signs and directions given that some of the parts of the bay have become dangerous and unstable given the damage caused by the storm a few weeks ago.
Those wishing to contribute to the bay’s restoration can do so by participating in the public consultation which is currently open.
The public consultation, entitled ‘Għar Lapsi - Back to the People’, will be running till the 24th of February 2026.
