Antico Vinaio Shares First Look Inside Valletta Shop Ahead Of This Saturday's Opening

All’Antico Vinaio has shared a first sneak peek of its new Valletta restaurant ahead of its official opening this Saturday, building excitement around the arrival of the world-famous sandwich brand in Malta.

Located on Republic Street, the outlet marks the brand’s first Maltese location and its 56th worldwide, bringing its iconic Florentine schiacciata sandwiches to the heart of the capital.

The preview offered a glimpse inside the new restaurant just days before doors open, fueling anticipation among locals and tourists alike.

Founded in Florence in 1991, All’Antico Vinaio has become one of the world’s most celebrated street food brands, with locations in major cities including New York, London and Paris.

Its arrival in Valletta is expected to add a major new attraction to the city’s food scene.

Founder and CEO Tommaso Mazzanti described the opening as another milestone in the brand’s global expansion, while local franchisee Director Victor Borg said Republic Street was the perfect setting for the concept.

The Malta outlet will stay true to the brand’s roots, serving freshly made schiacciata with premium ingredients sourced from Italy, while also introducing Malta-exclusive creations inspired by local flavours.

Founded by the Mazzanti family, All’Antico Vinaio rose to international fame with signature sandwiches like “La Favolosa.”

The official opening takes place at 12pm on April 25, with daily opening hours from 10:00 to 22:00 starting April 26th.
