Another 'Umbrellun' Revealed At Ħaż-Żabbar Feast

Yesterday, a second eye-catching traditional umbrellun was revealed during the Żabbar feast.
The large green canopy covered in intricate red, gold and white ornamental patterns, with elaborate scrollwork, floral motifs and painted religious imagery.
At the centre, the canopy rises to a decorative finial topped with a crown-like ornament, while the edges are richly decorated with gold detailing.
Another umbrellun was unveiled the day before, designed by Adonai Camillieri Cauchi.
