Through this investment, the premises have been transformed into a safe and modern environment, equipped with new technology including VR headsets, to serve as a space where youths can meet, learn, and develop their skills.

The renovation was carried out to reflect contemporary needs, offering an inclusive space that encourages active participation within the community.

In his address, Parliamentary Secretary Keith Azzopardi Tanti maintained that the Government is committed to continuing its investment in social infrastructure dedicated to the younger generation.

He reiterated that, “The reopening of this centre is a testament to how the Community Development and Innovation Scheme is leaving a tangible impact in the heart of our localities. Through these funds, we are giving back to our youths a modern and dignified space where they can grow. Our message is clear: we will continue to support projects that place human resources and social innovation at the forefront.”

For his part, Fr Franco Fenech expressed his satisfaction with the completion of this long-awaited project. He stated, “Thanks to this support, today we are reopening doors that will welcome many young people in need of guidance and support. The renovation and new equipment are not just about buildings and furniture but are an investment in the well-being of our youths. This centre will be a beating heart within the community, where every young person feels welcome and is given the opportunity to discover their potential in an environment they deserve.”
