This data was revealed from a survey conducted by the European Parliament, released in a press release from the EU Parliament Office in Malta.
Going along with this, 68% of Maltese citizens are concerned that current data protection is insufficient.
An additional 68% are concerned over hate speech both online and in person.
Despite this, 85% of Maltese citizens are optimistic about their future and that of their families.
