Alicia Bugeja Said Praises Animal Welfare Seizure of 120 Animals

Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Animal Rights, Alicia Bugeja Said, has expressed her satisfaction following a major intervention by the Department of Animal Welfare Malta.
“Earlier today, the Department of Animal Welfare Malta carried out the seizure of around 120 animals, including cats, chickens, birds, gerbils, and rabbits, following a report that they were being kept in poor conditions. I am pleased with this intervention and wish to express my appreciation for the work carried out by the officials of Animal Welfare, especially considering the current weather conditions,” she wrote.
