This year’s tree, designed by Henry Galea and his team, highlights elements that are deeply rooted in Maltese culture.

In the video’s caption, Said explained that she had “just left Parliament after a meeting when I noticed a mahi-mahi hanging from the Christmas tree!”

She went on to praise Galea and his team “for their dedication and hard work in making Valletta look beautiful during such a wonderful season as Christmas.”
