Alex Borg Visits & Thanks Enemalta Workers

Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg visited and thanked Enemalta employees currently working to make sure local houses and buildings have power through the ongoing heatwave.
‘These workers are suffering because of governmental incompetence’, said Alex. ‘Families and businesses deserve compensation.’
Accompanied by Shadow Minister for Energy Mark Anthony Sammut, Borg spoke with the workers as they continue to ensure energy provisions all around the islands.
Earlier, Enemalta reported that it has restored electricity supply in most areas affected.
According to Enemalta, electricity demand reached an all-time high of 741MW on Tuesday, shortly after a previous record of 713MW was registered on Monday.
