Alex Borg To Contest On The 12th And 13th District This Upcoming General Election

Opposition Leader Alex Borg is set to contest the next general election on both the 12th and 13th electoral districts.
The Twelfth District includes the northern localities of Mellieħa, St Paul’s Bay and parts of Naxxar, while the Thirteenth District covers Gozo, where Borg previously secured a strong electoral showing.
Borg first contested the 2022 Maltese general election, running on the 13th District.
He garnered 6,108 first-preference votes, a notable result for a first-time candidate.
His tally placed him among the highest vote-getters nationwide, second only to PN leader Bernard Grech in terms of first-count votes.
