Alex Borg To Address People As The New PN Leader

On his first morning as leader of the Nationalist Party, Alex Borg has issued a call for unity as he prepares to deliver his maiden speech in Tal-Pietà.

In a post shared earlier today, Borg invited party members and supporters to join him at PN headquarters at 10:30am, “Let us unite together for my first speech as Leader of the Nationalist Party. We meet today at 10:30am at the Dar Ċentrali in Tal-Pietà. Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust. My work as Leader has begun. I am ready to serve. This is the moment.”

Borg, 30, was confirmed as PN leader in the early hours of Sunday morning after securing a razor-thin victory over Adrian Delia by just 44 votes. His election makes him the youngest-ever leader of a major political party in Malta.
