Alex Borg has shared a brief but heartfelt video following his victory as the new leader of the Nationalist Party, thanking supporters and marking the start of a new chapter for the party.
Alex Borg wrote, “Thank you for your support as we begin a new chapter. This is the moment 🇲🇹.”
The 30-year-old secured the PN leadership in the early hours of Sunday morning, winning by a narrow margin of 44 votes over former leader Adrian Delia. Borg’s election makes him the youngest-ever head of a major political party in Malta.
