Alex Borg Says PN Ready To Govern As He Praises Quality Of Candidates

Alex Borg said he is proud of the quality of candidates being put forward by the Nationalist Party for the upcoming general election, stating that his wish is to govern the country alongside what he described as a high-quality team.

Speaking during a mass rally held in Luqa this evening, Borg said the Labour Party has been insisting that the PN’s proposals are unrealistic and impossible to implement. However, he strongly rejected those claims, insisting that the proposals are not only achievable, but would also be delivered by a future Nationalist government.

Among the proposals mentioned was the PN’s recent pledge to reduce electricity bills by 30%, a proposal which Borg said sent “shockwaves” across the country following its announcement.

The proposal would see a Nationalist government invest €60 million in solar panels aimed at reducing energy generation costs and lowering utility bills for families and businesses.

Borg reiterated that the PN is presenting concrete solutions for the country and insisted that the party is ready to govern.
