Alex Borg Proposes €5,000 Child Trust Fund For Every Newborn

Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg proposed a €5,000 Child Trust Fund for every newborn, an investment that will extend until adulthood.

This forms part of further proposals targeting the local young, which include a €1,000 monthly stipend for students studying healthcare professions, 0% income tax for five years for Maltese healthcare professionals who return to Malta as well as no tax on the first €10,000 earned from overtime and part-time work.

This is an incentive to support youth and coming generations to sustain the Maltese economy and their livelihood.

This was announced during the 1st of May celebrations by the Nationalist Party in Ħal Lija.
