Alex Borg Pays Tribute To His Late Father On What Would Have Been His Birthday

In a heartfelt social media post, Leader of the Nationalist Party, Alex Borg, paid tribute to his late father on what would have been his birthday.

Tony, Alex’s father, passed away after a battle with cancer in 2018. He was 56 when he died and he was known for his continuous service to the Gozitans. Alex took the time to write a few words in loving memory of his beloved father.

Sharing his thoughts, Borg wrote, "The more time passes, the more your memories and above all, your words, advice, and wisdom come to life. Your death taught me even more about life.You taught me to love more.You taught me to do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done for someone else. You taught me the most important thing to you: to help more and help everyone without colour, without prejudice. You taught me all of this. And you, wherever you are, I hope you are proud of what I am doing for the country and for the party.’

Borg concluded his post with, ‘Thank you, Pa. Happy birthday Pa.’
