Alex Borg Offers Support For Naxxar Families Evacuated After Collapse Fears

‘Home should be a place for security not fear’, said Alex Borg, as he offered his support for the Naxxar families evacuated after construction collapse led to their evacuation.

This came after reports of structural instability at a major construction site in Naxxar, where foundations and compacted earth reportedly shifted, raising fears among workers and residents of a possible collapse and prompting a stop-work order by the authorities.

The PN Leader said that these families are now living in uncertainty and fear, and that this concerns all of the Maltese public. This country, he said, needs to place our security as the utmost priority.

‘All that they have worked for for years could end in nothing’, said Borg. ‘Home should be a place for security and peace of mind, not fear.’
