Alex Borg Meets MCAST Students In Paola

Whilst visiting MCAST Paola, Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg said that a new nationalist government will give greater autonomy so that the college is less dependent on government.
The government would ensure the the education system focuses more on the needs of students so that they have the best opportunities to succeed in their studies and in their professional lives.
During the visit, Borg highlighted the importance of vocational and technical education, whilst also discussing the crucial role MCAST plays in preparing young people for the world of work and for the country’s economic needs.
The PN Leader recalled how MCAST was established by a Nationalist Government as part of the long-term vision the Partit Nazzjonalista has always had in favour of modern and inclusive education, linked to the real needs of society and the economy.
Borg was accompanied by PN candidates Bernice Bonello, Stefan Caruana, Marilena Gauci, Joseph Grech and Justin Schembri.
