Alex Borg Addresses EPP Parliamentary Group Meeting, Brussels

Partit Nazzjonalista Leader Alex Borg has concluded his first official visit to Brussels, organised by PN Head of Delegation to the European Parliament, David Casa. The visit formed part of the PN’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its role within European politics and to build closer ties with leaders of the European People’s Party (EPP).

During his visit, Borg addressed the EPP Parliamentary Group Meeting at the European Parliament, where he underlined the PN’s commitment to restoring good governance, upholding the rule of law and ensuring responsible leadership that works in the public interest.

He expressed his gratitude to European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, David Casa and MEP Peter Agius for their dedication to advancing Malta’s interests and amplifying the PN’s voice in Europe.

Borg also held a series of bilateral meetings with Members of the European Parliament, discussing employment, civil society and the protection of fundamental rights. He later met European Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans, Costas Kadis, to explore opportunities for Malta’s fisheries sector and the importance of continued European support for smaller Mediterranean nations.

The PN delegation in Brussels also included Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs Beppe Fenech Adami and PN International Secretary Beppe Galea.
