Ħal Għargħur Church Cross Damaged In Intense Weather

Damages to the Ħal Għargħur church’s cross have been reported after intense weather hit the islands this past week.
It-Temp Madwarna shared photos of the cross at the top of the parish church having broken off and resting rather dangerously at the top.
The highest gust of wind was registered in Mellieħa, It-Temp Madwarna explained, and reached up to 98km per hour, or Force 10 on the Beaufort scale.
