Aid For Schools Up To €30,000 As Of Next Academic Year

Prime Minister Robert Abela announced that, as of next academic year, the financial aid to schools will be increasing from €10,000 to €30,000 a year.
This measure, which was announced during the 2026 general election campaign, aims to make sure that no student is left behind, said Abela.
The financial aid will be going to the school headmasters so that they have more resources to address all the needs of the students at the school.
Minister for Education Byron Camilleri said that the government has an obligation to let no student fall behind.
The measure, he said, will be used for this reason while ensuring a safe and holistic environment at the school for them to grow up in.
