AFM’s Last NH500 Helicopter Now Displayed At Malta Aviation Museum

The Armed Forces of Malta announced that the last Nardi Hughes 500 (NH500) Helicopter of two that served as part of Air Wing of the AFM has been conveyed to a ‘rightfully deserved spot at the prestigious’ Malta Aviation Museum.

The helicopter was initially leased by the Italian Guardia Di Finanza to the AFM. In agreement with the Italian Authorities, the helicopter will be displayed for public with the Air Wing’s of the AFM livery.

‘The other NH500 is on display in Italy at the Guardia Di Finanza Aviation Museum in Pratica Di Mare, also portraying Air Wing’s livery of our Armed Forces.’

‘The conveyance was done by 3 Regiment of the Armed Forces of Malta in collaboration with Air Wing of our Armed Forces as well, supported by the Malta Police Force.’
