AFM Rescue Man And Dog After Boat Runs Aground

Earlier today, the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) carried out a successful rescue operation after a boat ran aground in the northern waters of Malta. On board were one male individual and his dog.

The AFM’s rescue vessel, Melita II, promptly responded to the alert received by the Rescue Coordination Centre and safely brought both the man and his pet to shore. They were handed over to the relevant authorities for any further assistance required.
