AFM Rescue After Person Falls Off Gozo Cliffs

Yesterday afternoon, the Malta Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) undertook a rescue of a casualty who fell and sustained injuries on the cliffs and required immediate assistance near Blata tal-Majistral in Gozo.
An Armed Forces of Malta helicopter was immediately dispatched to the area in order to conduct the rescue, AFM explained.
The patient was safely airlifted and handed over to Gozo General Hospital medical team for further treatment.
The AFM extended its gratitude to Gozo General Hospital medical team and Civil Protection Malta for their assistance.
