AFM Evacuate Fishing Boat Crew Member Due To Medical Emergency

Yesterday evening, the Armed Forces of Malta conducted a medical evacuation from onboard a fishing vessel.
The Malta Rescue Coordination Centre was notified that a crew member was in need of urgent medical attention, with an AFM helicopter being dispatched to conduct the operation.
The crew member was handed over to Mater Dei Hospital personnel for further treatment.
