AFM Conduct Helicopter Medical Evaluation After Man Suffers Grievous Hand injury

Last night, the Armed Forces of Malta carried out a rescue and medical evaluation after a man suffered a grievous hand injury.
In a post shared to their social media, AFM stated that a request for a medical evaluation was received from a vessel at sea after a reported injury.
Helicopter AW 139 was dispatched and the injured crewman was evacuated.
Following the rescue by AFM, the man was sent to Mater Dei Hospital for further medical care.
