AFM Chaplain Honoured After Completing U.S. Military Leadership Course

Chaplain Lieutenant Sergio Fenech of the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) has successfully completed the Chaplain Direct Commission and Chaplain Basic Officer Leader Course at the U.S. Army Institute for Religious Leadership, Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

During the graduation ceremony, Chaplain Lieutenant Fenech was awarded the United States Diplomatic Medal in recognition of his superior performance in military duties and outstanding academic achievement throughout the course. He graduated with an academic average that exceeded the course standards.

His exceptional performance was noted to have contributed significantly to the continued success of the Security Cooperation Education and Training Programme at the U.S. Institute for Religious Leadership. The achievement reflects great credit upon Chaplain Lieutenant Fenech, the Armed Forces of Malta, and the Republic of Malta.
