Adrian Delia’s Son ‘Brutally Assaulted’ In Sliema Family Friendly Area

Nationalist Party MP and former leader Adrian Delia took to social media with a statement reporting how his teenage son was ‘brutally assaulted by a group of youths in a family friendly area of Sliema.’

‘After a difficult experience this weekend, I feel compelled to speak up not just as a political representative but more so as a parent’, wrote Delia.

‘Repeated reported instances of such gang activity and attacks on children like this, particularly over weekends, point to a growing problem of violence and unruly behaviour that cannot be ignored. No parent should have to worry about their child’s safety in public spaces. My son is thankfully recovering, but things could have ended very differently.’

He went on to thank his friend, who stood by him and called for help, along with the Mater Dei Hospital Malta staff and Malta Police Force officers for their professionalism and respect for the family’s privacy.

‘This is not about politics this is about safety.’
