A Lot Of Sea Life Was Brought Ashore Due To Storm Harry

Local
Storm Harry not only wreaked havoc on Malta’s coastlines, but also on our wildlife.
In a troubling post to his Facebook, Jonathan Agius shared numerous images of deceased ocean wildlife in Pretty Bay, Birzebbuga.
“Pretty Bay (Birzebbugia) could sadly be renamed “Cemetery Bay,” with hundreds—possibly over a thousand—wild animals having succumbed to Storm Harry,” stated Agius, “I managed to save a fireworm and a few sea cucumbers.”
This just adds to the list of devastating consequences caused by Storm Harry’s rough seas, strong winds, and heavy rainfall.
