A High Energy Lineup Set To Ignite Cottonera’s NYE26 Celebration

Preparations for this year’s NYE26 celebration in the heart of Cottonera are underway, with the Kottonera Foundation setting the stage for one of the most anticipated nights of the year.

The evening opens at 8:00pm, hosted by the vibrant Ray Calleja and Dorianne Mamo, who will lead audiences into a lineup tailored to keep the atmosphere buzzing from start to finish.

At 8:30pm, the beloved folk group Kantera, fresh from competing in Eurovision Malta 2025 with the unforgettable “Lalaratatakeke Lalaratakabum,” will ignite the night with their trademark lively sound.

From 10:00pm to 11:00pm, Matthew James, former Red Electric member and X Factor Malta music producer, takes over.

As the final moments of 2025 approach, the spotlight turns to Ira Losco.

Starting at 11:00pm, she’s set to lead the crowd right into the new year. When the clock strikes midnight, Ray Calleja and Dorianne Mamo return to the stage for the official countdown, followed by a spectacular fireworks display and synchronised drone show.

Ira Losco continues her set until 1:00am, ensuring the first hour of 2026 begins on a high.

The celebration takes place on 31 December, with free entrance for all.

Food stalls, family-friendly activities, and a dedicated children’s area will complete the festive experience.
