Young people who took part in Aġenzija Żgħażagħ's summer Life Skills Lab programme showcased the projects they developed and the skills they acquired during a closing event held at the agency's premises in Santa Venera.

The programme, aimed at participants aged between 11 and 16, offered a range of activities outside the formal education system to support their personal, social and educational development.

Throughout the summer, participants were encouraged to build practical life skills, discover new interests and strengthen their confidence through non-formal learning experiences.

Life Skills Lab also contributes to the implementation of the National Youth Policy Towards 2030 by promoting young people's wellbeing, inclusion, personal development, lifelong learning and access to quality non-formal education opportunities.

During the event, Minister for Youth, Wellbeing and the Implementation of the Electoral Programme Omar Farrugia presented certificates to the participants in recognition of their involvement.

Addressing those present, the Minister described Life Skills Lab as an initiative that enabled young people to discover new talents, make new friends and explore new opportunities.

He said the greatest reward of programmes such as this was seeing young people continue to grow and build their future.

Aġenzija Żgħażagħ Chief Executive Jason Zammit said the event celebrated the achievements of young people who had participated in the agency's programmes. He noted that the skills they developed through the initiative would remain valuable throughout their lives and help prepare them for future opportunities and challenges.
