Aġenzija Sapport’s Budget At €40.3 Million As Agency Expands Disability Services

Aġenzija Sapport’s budget increased to more than €40.3 million in 2025, marking a 14% rise on the previous year, as the agency continued expanding services aimed at promoting independent living and inclusion.
The agency’s annual report shows that it employed 649 people by the end of 2025, while more than 500 staff members received training throughout the year.
Several new services were introduced, including support groups for parents of children with disabilities, people with acquired disabilities, teenage siblings of people with disabilities and LGBTIQ+ people with disabilities. New youth work and specialist services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people were also launched.
The SkillUp programme was introduced to provide independent living and employment skills, while the Path2Independence pilot supported young people with disabilities in experiencing greater independence.
The agency also assisted 37,000 individuals through its customer care team during the year.
