Aġenzija Appoġġ Director Graziella Castillo Passes Away

Graziella Castillo, Director of Agenzija Appoġġ, has died at the age of 47.

She was widely regarded as a compassionate and dedicated leader who made a lasting impact on both the organisation she led and the individuals she supported throughout her career.

Her passing was announced by the Foundation for Social Welfare Services, which described her death as a profound loss felt by her family, colleagues and the many people whose lives she influenced in meaningful but often quiet ways. Castillo would have turned 48 on Wednesday.

'Behind her role and achievements was a woman of immense kindness and empathy. She never lost sight of the human stories behind the work: the vulnerable, the unheard, the struggling, day after day, to ensure they were not alone', wrote FSWS.

'Graziella leaves behind a legacy that cannot simply be measured in policies or programmes, but in the lives she helped steady, the people she inspired and the compassion she embedded into the very fabric of Agenzija Appogg.'
