9 Out Of 100 New Gozo Roads Officially Completed, Says Minister Clint Camilleri

Infrastructure works on several residential roads in Xagħra have been completed as part of ongoing efforts to improve road quality and strengthen services across Gozo, according to Clint Camilleri, Minister for Gozo and Planning.
The minister announced that nine roads have now been completed under the government’s pledge to deliver 100 new residential roads over the next three years.
Among the latest works carried out were sections of Triq John Otto Bayer and Triq il-Mitħna, near the Kola Windmill and the Ġgantija area, where around 1,700 square metres of tarmac were laid after underground services and electricity cables were replaced.
Additional works were also finalised in Triq Ġnien Xibla and Triq il-Komittiva, where infrastructure services were upgraded and around 1,000 square metres of new tarmac was installed.
The projects were carried out through collaboration between the Ministry for Gozo and Planning, Enemalta and the Water Services Corporation.
Xagħra mayor Victor Curmi thanked the ministry and Enemalta for the completed works.
