81-Year-Old Woman Passenger At Risk Of Dying After Accident In Gozo

An 82-year-old man lost control of his vehicle this morning, resulting in a serious traffic accident on Triq Marsalforn, Żebbuġ, Gozo.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:00 am when the driver, from Ħaż-Żabbar, collided with a wall while driving a Toyota Corolla. An 81-year-old woman from Santa Venera was also in the car at the time.
Emergency services attended the scene, and the woman was transported by ambulance to Gozo General Hospital, where she was certified with serious injuries. The driver’s condition has not been publicly disclosed.
Police investigations are ongoing.
